Introduction about Metro BTS
Installation of Metro Site BTS is very much similar to Ultra Site BTS.This BTS is also based on Back Plane connectivity between all the modules installed such as between power card & TRX card, TRX card & RRI card.The size of BTS is very small, so it is mainly installed where there is less space.
Capacity
Due to its small size Metro BTS has a capacity of maximum 4 TRX card. These TRX cards can be installed in number of configurations like Omni Directional Antenna & as well as Sector Based Antenna. The main feature is its compact size as there is no requirement for duplexers, multicouplers & combiners.
